Founder Michael Lindberg started his company in 1988 with the sale of hats. 1991 Michael got his first born child. I child with cold feet and hands. Michael then asked a fur trader for help to sew warm booties and mitts in Scandinavian elk leather, products that later became the basis of its own brand.

1994 Michael registred Lindberg as an brand and the products have since become many. Besides Scandinavian elk (moose) leather items, such as hats, booties, gloves, etc are now also knitted hats, gloves, underwear, jackets, pants, overalls, socks, etc. For the summer, Lindberg also a collection for children and junior with rain wear, shell garments, jackets, pants, overalls , T-shirts, hats, shorts, swimsuits and sun protection clothing.
